What Our Volunteers Say
"It might seem like it's a grimy chore, but I think picking up litter is one of the most meaningful things you can do. Mother Theresa said 'In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.' If everyone brought the same spirit into the world that the Cornwall Cleanup Crew brings to keeping our town clean, we'd all be a lot better off."
Bill B.
Local Resident
"At first, I just wanted volunteer hours for school, but over time, I started to really understand why the litter needed to be removed from the roadsides, and I gained leadership and thoroughness skills that will help me in my adult life. The Cleanup Crew has changed how I approach life in general, always aiming to do a full and efficient job no matter the size."
Christian C.
High School Student
"I do not think there are enough adjectives to correctly put in sentences to explain what the Cornwall Cleanup Crew does and how much their impact positively affects the community. They are organized, dedicated, resourceful, and ambitious, and organized in a way that goes beyond the scope of an average committee, and it's done with diligence and grace, asking for nothing in return other than volunteer help."
